The vast campus of KP under the management of KIIT houses various spots of recreational value including playgrounds, auditorium, cafes, learning, resource centres and students’ activity facilities. The Sport Service offers a wide range of programs of sports for all levels-from beginners to elite athletes. KIIT also accommodates a vast sporting arena with play grounds for lawn tennis, basketball, badminton, football, cricket and table-tennis, in addition to a state-of art gymnasium.

Students interested in pursuing art forms like dance, music, singing etc. on amateur basis have an easy access to perform with different clubs under the institute. Meritorious students having inclination towards debating or writing are also nurtured under the able guidance of teachers in the field. Student Clubs

The institute believes in bringing out the hidden talents of the students to the fore. It provides a platform to the students to exhibit their potential and excel in their extra curricular passions. Various clubs have been formed amongst the students to undertake cultural activities as well as to develop the personality of the students. The section organizes Debate, Quiz, Literary and Music competitions on regular basis.

Tutor-Mentor System

There has been provision for tutorial arrangement for the students. The tutors remain in close liaison with the students to know their progress in studies and any problem faced by them. There will be a Tutor-Mentor for every thirty students to guide and help the students in any matter including academic and non-academic ones.

Cultural activities

KP organizes various cultural programmes regularly to provide a platform to students to portray their talents through dance, drama, music and many more creative designs. The annual cultural meet, inter-college competitions, inter-collage exchange programmes are organized on regular basis.

College Magazine

Under guidance of teachers and an editorial board, the students bring out an annual magazine named “Karmakaara”. This provides a platform to expose the latent talent of students in literary skill.

Picnic & excursions

The students of various departments arrange annual picnics/excursions every year. Accompanied by the faculty members, the outings are the means to develop inter personal relationships amongst the students.

Study tour/industrial visit

The students of 6th semester of various departments usually organize study/industrial tours every year. On completion of the study/Industrial tour, the students are required to give a seminar talk regarding their training programme and subject.

Sports

With one of the biggest in-campus indoor stadiums, KIIT provides facility for all indoor games including an air-conditioned billiard room. A large sport arena has been built for outdoor games such as basketball, lawn tennis, hockey, cricket etc. The institute has appointed full time professional coaches for the growth of students in sports. The students are encouraged to participate in various inter-college, states, national and international level meets.
